Hughes Hollow and Fort McHenry today

Ray Kiddy and I played hookie today (5/20) and ran down to Hughes Hollow
and then to Fort McHenry.  The spotted towhee was not relocated.  We met
Jim Peters, and Lou Nielson and some other birders at Hughes Hollow
including Anne Lucie and Linda Friedland.  All in all it was a decent
day to be out birding.  We also stopped at the Halethorpe Ponds and
spotted a mute swan, and a great egret.  A warbling vireo was singing
there too as was a redstart and a yellow warbler.  I noted 2 YC Night
Herons flying over soon after we arrived at Hughes Hollow (around 7
am).
