During a lunchtime walk I found the following:

   Tidal Basin
Wood Duck (female) and 2 ducklings
Blackpolls (a large flock)
Red-eyed vireo (1)
Baby starlings still in their holes, but close to emerging
Flegling common grackles
Baltimore Orioles (2) 
   singing from elm trees at north end of FDR Memorial

DC Veterans' Memorial
   Lots of singing cicadas, more blackpolls

Constitution Gardens
   Still more Blackpolls, (1) Ovenbird
   Baltimore Orioles (several) singing in elms near Vietnam Memorial
