During my lunchtime walk around Schoolhouse Pond, I spotted an adult Black-
crowned Night Heron on a log towards the rear of the pond. I got good
views of this bird as it looked around, and then flew towards the townhouse
side of the pond, where it set down in the vegetation to the rear of the
pond, out of sight.

Present this morning was a pair of Yellow-billed Cuckoos calling, and a
singing Yellow-throated Vireo directly over the boardwalk in a tree. This
bird has been singing in this location for about 2 weeks now, but this is
the first good looks I've had of it.
