The Osprey nest on the day marker at Pomonkey Creek, Charles County, has two nestlings about two weeks old.  This is the nest that is directly below the local Eagle family's favorite Spanish Oak (Quercus falcata).  The Eagles have been persona non grata anywhere within 100 yds of the Ospreys' nest since they successfully took residence there seven weeks ago.
