Hi all,


   At work in Cockeysville, mostly starlings and
mockingbirds feast on cicadas. One starling I saw
caught one of the mid-size cicadas in the air similar
to what our local kingbird does and trying to kill it
by slam the cicadas' body on the paved road. The
starling only ate the head and left the rest to rot.
It looks like most of our birds prefer the head as a
tasty meal.
