trees and every year, I hardly get any cherries off them because the birds
eat them before I can. This year, the trees are loaded with
ripe cherries and there is not a bird in sight. Very little is using my
feeders either - not even the squirrels."

I have had one of those non-melt peanut suet cakes hanging virtually
untouched since the cicadas came out.  Also, the two Mullberry Trees in my
yard have have more ripe berries this year than I can remember.
