I just came back in. It is getting ready to storm again. There has been no wind and no Kites since we saw them the last time I reported.

 Before, as the storm hit, they all dropped  right into the woods where they always appear from, behind my house and up the street. Watching them catch the wall cloud updraft was, I don't know what to say other than incredible.They didn't go far. It looked like they dropped into the woods no farther than a 100 yards or so in. So yes, I think they still remain. 

There are enough periodical cicadas here to feed an Army. Do you want some? They are very friendly and don't make much noise.Ha.ha.

The trick here is to have good wind and sunny weather. I think they started seeing them here around 11:00 or around that time today. I have to work and can't be here.
