Oops, I hadn't mean to send my reply to the whole list.  

Technology.  I still have my (working) turntable and all my albums, none really also on CD.  I just played Carole King's "Music" yesterday morning while reading the newspaper.

   I believe that was from a Bob Newhart routine, not Jonathan Winters.
 I still have the recording.
