This morning I was delighted to find a R-E Vireo nest at eye level. I was able to observe the adult(s)? feeding chicks. The nest was beautifully constructed at the tip of a mature tulip poplar. The chicks were very vocal, quite large and still downy. I could have plucked the babies out of the nest they were so low.
    Also heard a Yellow-billed cuckoo calling.
