Subject: ALBINO CARDINAL SPOTTED!!
I was out walking Sunday [July 18] evening, around 7:45-8:00pm, going into the MeadowBrook Park area, and on the big tree to the left near the road, I had stopped to snap a picture of a deer. Just as I snapped it, what I think was an ALBINO CARDINAL flew out of the tree. It was white (maybe a very very light pink), except for the very end tail feathers, which were red, and I could tell it was a cardinal from the shape of the bird and its beak... And, a female cardinal flew out of the tree immediately after the white one.
Just wanted to make sure that there is such a bird as an Albino Cardinal .. Of course, they are way too fast to get a picture that quick!
I will definitely be on the watch to see if I can spot him again!
