Hello All,
I got in a little birding around home yesterday morning before the
rains came (and I got soaked). I found the first obvious fall migrants in
the guise of Bank Swallows (#130 at Oak grove for the year), a Prairie
Warbler around the abandoned yellow house on Oak Grove Rd and a Redstart
(#131) on Horseshoe Rd. Other birds included a Vesper Sparrow, male
Baltimore Oriole (must remember to look for nest after the leaves fall) and
Wood Duck on Oak Grove Rd; Scarlet Tanager and fledgling Grasshopper
Sparrows on Horseshoe Rd and Yellow-breasted Chat on the farm.

Good Birding,
