A visit to the Easton Waste Water Treatment Plant around noon
today was fairly productive, but one had to really work to see the
shorebirds - they were 'in-and-out' of fairly tall grass beside several of
the open irrigation pipe lines.

Species seen: Greater Yellowlegs - 3, Sandpipers - Western (3),
Pectoral (2), Least (several), Semipalmated (several) and Spotted (2). Over
50 Bank Swallows were around, along with a dozen or so Barn Swallows. Also,
Green Heron (1), Song Sparrow (3), and lots of Red-winged Blackbirds.

Along the entrance road (South Dover Road) there was a quite
young Red-tailed Hawk being protected by the shrill calls of advice from a
parent near by.
