Greetings,

Like Parke and Sean I too figured that Turkey Point may yield birds
following the cold front this past weekend. My list wasn't quite as grand
as theirs (I didn't get out until after noon) But I still found a decent
mix of birds. Most notably was a Blue-winged Warbler mixed in with other
more common passerines. I also noticed a few Laughing Gulls in various
degrees of molt on the asphalt at the old North East Plaza this morning.
This is cool to me because I don't usually see Laughing Gulls this far up
the bay.

Today on the Edgewood Arsenal of APG I found a lot of terns moving with
around a dozen Forster's and fewer Caspian around. Also I found a Great
Egret on the upper reaches of the tidal Bush River. Other then that it was
pretty quiet. Recently fledged birds seen today included YB Cuckoo, GC
Flycatcher, WB Nuthatch, Titmouse, Cardinal, and Bluebird.

Good Birding,
Chris Starling
