Hi all,
I took an hour on my way to work yesterday AM to do a quickie at Layhill
Park, where I only made it to the first "field" on the north side. I had a bit
of migrant activity there right before the small "creek" crosses before the
woods. A Yellow Warbler may have been a local breeder, but the immature
Chestnut-sided Warbler and the pair of Canada Warblers were most definitely on the
move. A few Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, R-T Hummingbirds and Red-eyed Vireos
kept things interesting too. Heard a wheeping Great-crested Flycatcher as well.
