Like Rob, I failed to find the ibis yesterday evening. (I spent most of
the hour before 6 PM working back and forth along the Washington Channel
side of the point--from the entrance to the Golf Course out to the
point; and to make the experience less enjoyable, I discovered a broken
spoke on my bike shortly after I arrived.)

Stopped off on my way to work this morning and found the Glossy Ibis
about 0735. It was again feeding in the grassy strip between the road
and the edge of the channel, just South of parking lot 5. During the
10 minutes I watched the bird, it made two short (10-15 m) flights
further south, and then took off and looped West over the golf course
before circling back north and dropping out of sight somewhere on the
golf course (seemingly close to the cross road).
