Following up on Matt's report I checked the Aldino Sod Farm in Harford County yesterday morning. Birds were found in three locations.
   1. On the north side of Route 156 (Aldino Road) and west of the airfield. The field was being actively worked by two tractors and there was a lot of truck traffic keeping the birds moving. Most of the birds were close to the rainpool near the road. Birds here were: Great Egret 1, Green Heron 2, Killdeer 50, Solitary Sandpiper 1, Least Sandpiper 4, Ring-billed Gull 3.

   2. On the south side of Aldino Road from site 1 to the main house in stripped fields: Killdeer 20, Semipalmated Sandpiper 3.

   3. On the west side of Carsins Run Road and south of the house: Killdeer 35, Least Sandpiper 1, Pectoral Sandpiper 6.

If you are in the area it is worth checking. There is very little shoulder on Aldino Road and heavy truck traffic around the farm. So be careful.
