On Sunday afternoon, 8/22, the following herons, and shorebirds
were present at Lake Roland.

At the base of the dam were 3 Black-crowned Night heron, 1 Green
Heron, and 1 Great Blue Heron.

At the mud flats were

Killdeer 7
Spotted Sandpiper 3
Solitary Sandpiper 1 (my first of the fall)
Semipalmated Sandpiper 5
Least Sandpiper 3

Great Egret 1
