     Furthermore by bombing birds that I have already seen, I can keep
them on my lifelist and allow the government to bring them closer to
extinction (which will eventually prevent others from listing them) !!!

How else could birders over a broad area all observe the same bird at
the same time?  Seems like dispersal is a good thing.  Or do you need to
have all parts of the bird for it to count on a list?
