I also had a Nashville Warbler yesterday at Schoolhouse Pond during my
lunchtime walk. It was an adult female and was along the backside of the
pond near the utility line path. It was feeding low in the underbrush
about 20 feet or so away. A bright, pretty bird, with a very yellow
throat.

Also, early yesterday morning I saw a bird which I had never seen at
Schoolhouse Pond before - 3 Blue-winged Teal. They were at the rear of the
pond, and flew around occasionally. The blue in the wing was especially
bright in the early morning sun. Of course, they are fairly regular at
Mount Calvert and Jug Bay, and also up Brown Station Road in the wetland
area, but it was a first for me in 15 years walking around the pond.

This morning, a first fall Chestnut-sided Warbler was present. Other
migrants from this week included a brilliant Prothonatary Warbler, a
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, and a Pied-billed Grebe.
