Hi Everyone,

Traveled to the Eastern Shore today, starting at Terrapin Park in Queen Anne's County. Found one large group of birds containing Magnolia, Blackburnian, Bay Breasted warblers as well as a Least Flycatcher, B. Orioles, Scarlet Tanager, Yellow-billed Cuckoo and a flock of cedar waxwings.

Stopped by John Brown turf farm, but failed to find any shorebirds except for Least Sandpipers.

At Pickering Creek, I was able to find several Redstarts, female BTB and Black and White warblers. The impoundments are very hard to view with all the plant growth along the edges. I did see eleven Green-winged Teal, but no shorebirds.

Along Rt. 307 in Dorchester County, I was able to locate the field Jim Brighton had found with the shorebirds on 8/31. I was able to find one Buff-breasted Sandpiper and five Golden Plovers. Viewing was difficult as the birds were not moving around much. Thanks Jim.
