CBC Turkey Point results

Hello everyone. The Cecil Bird Club Trip to Turkey Point on Saturday was a great success. 
We had approximately 20 people show up for a nice fall migration day. 
It started out kind of cloudy and dark with real bad light, but built up to be a nice morning.
I think the warbler list would have been better if we had better light in the morning. Everything 
for the first hour or two was high and in silhouette. There were a lot of warblers up there flitting around,
but the light was terrible. 
The Hawk migration was very slow but that will be a different story in a week or two.
The Monster flocks of Blue Jays are just weeks away. That is always a cool sight to see.
All in all, we ended up with 73 species for the day.

There was a Turkey Vulture sitting on the CAUTION CLIFFS ARE VERY DANGEROUS sign.
I hope this is not a regular feeding place for him.
