Today after classes I took a trip to the Eastern Shore to look for
shorebirds. Unfortunately I left my scope at home, but I don't think that it mattered
much. The best birds were found in Caroline County in the Sparks Rd area
north of Ridgely. I saw the birds on Dean Rd, a new gravel road that is
essentially a southern extension of Sparks Rd. Here are the results:
Chesapeake Waterfowl Trust was closed for an unknown reason. I called and
the answer machine indicated that they should have been open. I'll have to
get Tricolors in QA another time.

Note: Jim Brighton visited Dean Rd after me and found 2 Buffs, 3 Goldens
and a Black-bellied Plover. I presume that the Golden and Black-belly I saw on
Mason Branch simply moved, it's practically the same field.
