Hi all,
I had a very brief chance to visit Ednor Rd. at Brown's Bridge last evening
before dinner, and the water levels are sufficiently low now to expose the
mud flats for shorebirds. There were a good number of Least Sandpipers, many
Semi-palmated Sandpipers, along with many Killdeer, a few Solitary's too. A
Great Egret, Great-blue Heron and Green Heron were also there, as were a pair of
adult Bald Eagles, one sitting on a log at water level and the other which
flew to a nearby tree on the Montgomery side when I arrived.

I will check again later in the week, if I get a chance. Last night around
6:15 as I walked the dog, there were lots of Chimney Swifts and Common
Nighthawks flying over the nursery, catching insects before the storm.
