Ya gotta watch out for some of these little birds. In California I once saw
a couple of Anna's Hummingbirds gang up on a terrified Sharp-shin and chase
it from tree to tree.

Warblers that gorge themselves on a raptor or two have a clear survival
advantage when migrating over the Gulf of Mexico. Scientists have also
theorized that the somewhat cryptic fall plumage of first-year birds helps
them sneak up on their prey.
