Hi all,

As Walter's post reminded me, it is again time for the annual Big Sit. The
Montgomery Bird Club's "Sitting Ducks" will be sitting at Black Hill Regional
Park in Boyds on Sunday Oct. 10, from sun-up-? (or there-abouts). I will
probably arrive about 6am and post signage to point out the spot (same as past
years- the boat ramp area in general; small dike at far corner parking lot
specifically). Please come and spend a while birding and catching up on club
"chatter". Jim Green has said he will bring his grill and famous brats for a
lunchtime feast.

If you're curious about the origin of the teams name, come by and I will
share it with you! Last year we tallied about 55 species, I think, so obviously
we will be sitting much harder this year...
