Hi everyone,

I took a walk along the C & O Canal between Violettes and Riley's lock this morning. Found two flocks of warblers. The last and best bird was a Conn. Warbler which gave me fantastic looks for several minutes. I found the bird about 100 yards north of Violettes lock on the canal side. Other birds seen were Blue-headed Vireo, Parula, BTB, BTG, myrtle and a waterthrush, probably Northern, but I didn't get the greatest look.
