Blue Mash Nature Trail, Montgomery County, 7 Oct 04, 0700-0900

A very birdy morning along the BMNT. Eastern Phoebee must be passing
through with 20+ birds observed. Large numbers of Canada Goose & Blue Jay
also on the move. Migrants noted were: 50+-Chimney Swift, 1-empid sp.,
1-Blue-headed Vireo, 1-Orange-crowned, 1-Magnolia, 1-B-t Blue,
10+-Yellow-rumped, 1-B-t Green, 2-Palm (eastern), 2-Common Yellowthroat &
3-Indigo Bunting. Sparrow numbers are increasing with White-throated and
Swamp seen the first time this season. My BMNT list currently stands at 127
species.
