Hi all --

A beautiful autumn day at Rock Creek Park DC, with autumn birds to prove it!
Warblers definitely on the wane, first Hermit Thrushes of the fall for us,
big push of Phoebes, Golden-crowned Kinglets, lots of White-throated
Sparrows but few Catbirds.

Warblers: Black-and-White (1), Black-throated Blue (1), Black-throated
Green (4), Magnolia (1), Myrtle (1, only?), Nashville (1), Parula (1),
Yellowthroat (4).

Other migrants: Red-eyed Vireo (5), PHILADELPHIA VIREO (1 -- interestingly
enough, have seen 4 in total this autumn and all of them were in almost the
same place at the ridge!), Blue-headed Vireo (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (4),
Golden-crowned Kinglet (10), Scarlet Tanager (4), Hermit Thrush (2),
Swainson's Thrush (1), House Wren (5), Winter Wren (3), Catbird (5), Eastern
Phoebe (15), White-throated Sparrow (~40), Junco (10), Chipping Sparrow (6),
Swamp Sparrow (2), Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (2)
