Blue Mash Nature Trail, Montgomery County, 14 Oct 04

I met up with John Combs along the BMNT and we both experienced a banner
morning of sparrows. They were everywhere. Eight species observed: E.
Towhee, Field, Savannah, Song, LINCOLN'S, Swamp, White-throated &
WHITE-CROWNED (adults & juveniles).

Migrants included: 1-E. Phoebe, 1-rather late Barn Swallow, 1-thrush sp.
(brief glimpse pointed to Swainson's), 2-Palm Warbler (yellow) & buckets of
Yellow-rumped Warbler. Ruby-crowned Kinglets also in residence at BMNT.

With the addition of the Lincoln's & White-crowned Sparrows, my BMNT list
now stands at 129.
