 Hello
I took a little walk beside Lake Kittamaqundi at about 12 noon today. In a small tree beside the lake I saw a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Next I saw two male Black-throated Green Warblers. As I was looking at them, I also saw a male Black-throated Blue Warbler. Both warbler species were my years first.
Next I was walking down the trail by the lake and saw plenty of Yellow-rumped Warblers, Tufted Titmice and American Robins. But I also saw an Ovenbird. Not just an addition for my year list, but for my life list.
On that cold Wed morning this week, I went to the lake and saw my years first Ruddy Ducks. To think about it, those were the first Ruddys I've seen since 2002.
Marcus
