  All I can add is to stay with it.  It may or may not be something great.


    If it is a sparrow it would have to be great regardless of species!
Sibley also mentions that Sedge and Marsh Wrens can appear sparrow-like when
they flush. I have never seen one run on the ground though.

    p.s. A fairly good sparrow day today in Howard. White-Crowns on the
increase. Another Nelson's Sharp-tailed which made us "work" for 30 minutes
to get a decent look.
