I was out early to have a look at what shorebirds might be present on
the WSSC reservoirs this morning. At Triadelphia:

Big Branch - No shorebirds, several Canada Geese, 1 Great Blue Heron.

Pigtail - 1 Great Blue Heron, 1 Osprey, 2 Killdeer, 1 Least Sandpipers, 1
Pectoral Sandpiper.

Brighton Dam - 1 Double-Crested Cormorant.

Greenbridge - 2 Double-Crested Cormorants, 1 Greater Yellowlegs (fly by).

Then onto Brown's Bridge at Rocky Gorge, where I ran into two Howard
County birding stalwarts. What I saw was:

15+ Killdeer, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Pectoral. The others had seen a
Wilson's Snipe and a Gadwall (up around the bend), but I didn't.

Also at Brown's Bridge was a Yellow-Bellied Sandpiper. I saw or heard
Ruby-Crowned and Golden-Crowned Kinglet at all the above spots, except
Brighton.

We then went to Schooley Mill, where we saw a whole host of usual suspects.
But the Towhees pished up real nice, and posed handsomely. We also found
a huge spider, large yellow abdoment, orangish head and legs, about 3/4 of
an inch long. I don't think my digital photos came out, however.
