Joan,
That's not silly at all!! Common Ravens are in decline over much of their
range in eastern N.A. Ravens along the C&O canal are fairly regular but I
still get excited every time I see one. Oh... Plus... I'm coming back as a
raven in my next life.

Hi,
I feel silly posting this, but here goes. I saw two Common Ravens flying
overhead a short while ago while I was out for a lunchtime stroll here in
Gaithersburg. Is that unusual for this area? I say that because I checked my
MOS list of birds of Maryland and ravens are listed in bold, which means a
species of interest. I definitely heard the ravens call and that's what made
me look up. Otherwise, I would have thought they were crows.
