I just saw a pair of PB Grebes on our little lake (pond?) in Sewell's
Orchard in Columbia this evening. First time I've seen grebes there too!
Our pond (which is relatively new) is turning into quite a nice little bird
habitat! And some beavers have recently moved in as well!

The wife and I had a few minutes to spare today and went by the drainage
ponds at Arundel Crossroads Business Center, where we were rewarded with a
great view of a solitary Pied-billed Grebe and a Belted Kingfisher. The
kingfisher has been seen here before. The grebe is a new one for these
ponds.
