Greetings,

Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon strollering the baby along the
Susquehanna River in the State Park north of Lapidum in Harford County. We
were rewarded with some good looks at many of the fall migrant/winter
residents that, as of yet, had eluded my binoculars this season. Here we
found BV, Cooper's Hawk, both kinglets, Winter Wren, Fox Sparrow, and
YBSapsucker (the last three were new for me this fall.

In my neighborhood on Hances Point in Cecil County I have been hosting
hundreds of YRWarblers for a week now. There also is at least two Red-
breasted Nuthatches calling from the near-by White Pines. A decent sized
flock of sparrows were roaming the 'hood too. These consisted of mostly
Chippings, but also there were Song, White-throated, & Junco. RCKinglets
are also here in numbers. STILL NO PALM WARBLERS FOR ME THIS FALL???

The gull population at the North East Town Park is steadily growing with
around 500 gulls present yesterday morning. Guessing now that 2/3 of them
are Laughing Gulls. To me this is significant since I seldom see Laughing
Gulls this far north in the summer. In the past I have noted them being
more numerous in the fall, but to have 300 Laughing Gulls up here in fresh
water on October 25th seems notable!?!...

Additionaly, in my yard, I had two Screech Owls answering me. One was
rather close, but to no surprise I couldnt put my eyes on him/her.

I am sure I am forgetting something, oh well...

Good Birding,
