At about noon today, Sunday October 31, a late-season female Osprey was
soaring fairly low above Lake Needwood, Rockville, MD.  At least some of
the time it was carrying a large stick (nesting material!??), and was being
harassed by a Red-tailed Hawk.  Observed from Needwood Rd. at the north end
of the lake.
