HI all,


   Baltimore Bird Club is having a day-long trip to
Ocean City for SeaWatch searching for scoters, brants,
mergansers, loons, gulls and possible pelagic species
headed south on Nov 27th. If cannot make it for
Saturday due to Thanksgiving stayover with family,
optional try for Sunday all day.  Let me know which
days you plan to come.
   Leader will provide snacks. Dress warmly, bring
chair, scope, warm drinks, breakfast/lunch (or buy at
local store.  WaWa have all kind of breakfast and
lunch and hot drinks provided. It is open 24 hours a
day and is about 1/4 mile from Frances Scott Key Motel
on Rt 50.

   I spoke with staffs at Francis Scott Key Motel
about holding several rooms.  There are two choices,
it up to you. The building called Virginia House and I
think Pennsylvania House next to it are 95% open.
Great rooms, very clean and good price.

  1 - Stay over Friday night for early start Sat if
desired. Dinner/Tally to follow at local restaurant.
Optional stay over sat night for short birding inlet,
then stops on way home.

  2 - Stay over Saturday evening for early start Sun,
then return home afterward.

The seawatch will run from 730am to 4pm/430pm. You're
welcome to come and go to other sites nearby. We plan
to have cell phones handy in case of rarity in area.

Some birders wondering if weather get bad and already
got reservations. No worries, the staff will give us
72 hours cancellation policy before arrival in case of
bad weather.  Check with me if the trip is on, at
least 4 days before arrival.
