Finally I am seeing some diversity in the lake across the road here in
Carroll County. Up til now it's been all CAGO's, mallards and nice woodies.
Today some hoodies and ringnecks finally showed up. And this is Nov. 9th.
Also had fox sparrows in the park in Manchester along with the usual billion
whitethroats. They seem to be everywhere right now. Are they having a big
year like purple finches and red-breasted nuthatches? They seem more
numerous than usual.
