Went out to Turkey Point today thinking that the NW winds would produce some
birds. I was a little disappointed, there really weren't many hawks flying
and almost no waterfowl. I kept track of the birds that seemed to be migrating
by the hawk watch sight. Charlie Gant joined me for most of the morning.

930-1145

Common Loon - 1
Turkey Vulture - 2 (plenty of others around, only 2 seemed to be migrating
though)
Bald Eagle - 3
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 6
Red-shouldered Hawk - 12
Red-tailed Hawk - 12
American Robin - 72
Eastern Bluebird - 14
Cedar Waxwing - 125 (probably an underestimate, some groups were doubling
back)
Myrtle Warbler - 2
Red-winged Blackbird - 30
Common Grackle - 285
House Finch - 2
Purple Finch - 27
Pine Siskin - 4
American Goldfinch - 79

On the way home, I found a single Richardson's Goose at the intersection of
Rt 155 and Rt 156 in Harford County.
