George,
I made a short(ish) trip yesterday to Blue Mash again (to look for the
Dunlin, which have left), and was pleasantly surprised to find at least 3  species
of butterflys as well as 2 species of Dragonflys around. The butterflys  were
Meadow Frittilary, one of the yellow Sulphurs, and a late Red-spotted  Purple,
as well as a Common Buckeye on Saturday. The dragonflys were Meadowhawk  sp.,
many of which were out and about yesterday, and a Common Green Darner
hunting the fields by mid-morning. I think these may be the last of them, given  the
weather forecast for the coming week...
