Hello everyone. Parke John and I set out late this morning
for Southern Cecil County. We weren't disappointed.
Outside Cecilton, on New Cut Road we had a very large
flock of Horned larks. Probably 200 plus birds. In the mix we did
have a few Pipits, and a Snow Bunting. A bird I have had in Cecil
before but have been looking for desperately for the year in Md. So Cecil
works for me. A Merlin came across the field and jumped them all up and
scattered them about, but we had some great looks at the field birds.

There were many Bald Eagles around in every plumage today. 15 Eagles plus.

Also, we did get the small race of Canada Goose. The Cackling Goose.
I have some pictures. They are OK. They aren't great. It is Identifiable.
If anyone is interested in the pictures please let me know. E-mail me privately.
