I worked in Rockville near White Flint in 1988-1989, and the
crows--both types--were roosting in great quantities then. When they
"streamed" in at night, it felt like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Don't
know about pre-developed Rockville.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] montgomery county crows question
I have noticed the late afternoon southerly flight of Am. and Fish
Crows building over the past 2-3 weeks. Why do they roost in the White
Flint area? Have they always roosted there, even pre-development of
Rockville? In the morning do they head out in all different directions
from the roost and am I just seeing one particular "stream" of crows
returning to the central roost?
Thanks
