Lisa Shannon and I saw the Cave Swallows down low and close, many times,
before about 8:30 a.m., around the Rt. 121 bridge over the reservoir.

We then went to the Visitor Center area, and saw neither the Red-throated
Loon, the Eared Grebe, nor the Long-tailed Duck, though Matt Orsie might
have seen the grebe in the far distance, swimming behind a point. We did
see the two funky geese. Their necks are so long and thin that I wonder if
they have Swan Goose ancestry.
