What a great morning. We just had a YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (female) in our little "feeder tree" this morning! I know they aren't rare, but this is a lifer for me as well as a new feeder bird!! WOO-HOO! I hope she stays around! She didn't get a chance to feed yet because my resident DOWNIES are so protective of "their" feeders! They are always chasing the RED-BELLIES away. Why can't they share, there's certainly enough to go around ;-)

Do others have YB SAPSUCKERS at their feeders? Do they feed from the suet feeders?

Also had 2 WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCHES this year at our feeders. First time feeder birds for our house too!
