After the MOS board meeting I went looking for the longspur also. I was in the area about 3:30-4:00PM. There were no birds in the north area of the polo field as descibed by Dave or Rob. The flock was at the south end of the field, just north of the main driveway and about 50 feet from the fence. It consisted of 30 Horned Larks, 1 pipit, and 2 Lapland Longspurs. One appeared to be an immature female and the other a winter adult male.
