Hello All,
Must remember to not hit TAB....D'OH...
At the inlet, 25 Surf and 3 Black Scoters lurking behind the jetty,
but they were the only ducks. An immature Great Cormorant fished off the
end of the jetty. Good numbers of Purple Sands.
At the flats, several Oystercatcher, Black-Bellied Plover, Forster's
Terns, a couple Laughing Gulls and one female Black Scoter.
At West Ocean City Pond, 13 species of waterfowl with Canvasback, 4
Lesser Scaup, Hooded Merg, but nothing unexpected. 2 Great Egrets were
here as well.
Eagles Nest golf course pond had Gadwall, Amer. Wigeon and 2 Hooded
Mergs. South Ocean Pines pond had nothing but cormorants and gulls. This
will likely continue to go downhill as there is a sign along the road for
something else to be built around the pond. The damamge began with the
second entrance, but I digress.
Ended the day at Indian River Inlet where we had 2 Great Cormorants, a
flock of Bonaparte's Gulls and Forster's Terns, but could not pick out
anything rare. A beautiful Peregrine perched on top of the crane and I
was able to digiscope some decent pictures (still learning how to do that).

Good Birding,

Can I now? Can I now?....Yes, hit the TAB...
