The Sandhill Crane in the field immediately north of the Poolesville Golf
Course is still there (around 10:50am 12/5/04), it was hanging around the
isolated house at the north end of the field.

Two Lapland Longspurs, one American Pipit and several Horned Larks were
present at a field on the west side of Hughes Road. This morning (9:30 to
10:30am, 125/04) they were close to the place Bob Ringler saw them
yesterday, at the south side of the field about 100ft or so from the fences
near the driveway to the stables, houses etc. This is a field with very
short grass, including small dried out patches.
