Hi all,
Before yesterdays MOS BOD mtg at Black Hill, I was watching waterfowl from
the deck and earlier from the bridge. From the bridge I saw at least 3
Canvasbacks, 4 Pied-billed Grebes, lots of coots, Ruddy Ducks, Buffleheads, and a
pair of REDHEADs, and Ring-necked Ducks.

From the deck, much of the same, but just before the meeting, shortly after
9, we had a really large flock of approx. 500-600 ring-necked Ducks flying
very high due south. It was quite a spectacle, with the white undersides
flashing white like snowflakes in the sun. They were in many small V's intermingling
within the entire flock, forming a beautiful pattern against the blue sky.
