The Yellow-breasted Chat continues to visit my small garden in Baltimore
several times a day. According to Kauffman's "Lives of North American Birds"
there is a small population that overwinters in the northeast. Hopefully this is
one of those.

Bryce,
I had one spend most of the winter here back in '94-95. It was last seen on
Feb. 1, 1995, after spending the winter in the small stock nursery and
hedgerow adjacent to our common area in our townhouse development. I remember
seeing it on several occasions in the snow, where its bright yellow color really
stood out. And I also remember Norm Saunders coming over to see it, in the
snow.
