A female Rufous/Allen's Hummingbird was observed this morning, on the DC
Christmas Bird Count, at and around the feeder put up in the Ripley Garden
next to the Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building.

The observers weren't able to determine which of the two species it
was. Is there anything someone else can do today to pin down the species
for CBC purposes?

[Also interesting on the territory were two Bonapartes' Gulls in the pool
west of the Capitol.]
